AGASOBANUYE LIVE

Saiyaara - (review)

A delicate examination of love, loss and survival, Saiyaara is an emotional film reflecting on how firm connections can break us or rejuvenate our souls. There is a lot of emotional undertones in the story between Vaani and Krish: Vaani is heartbroken due to unsuccessful engagement and follows, and Krish is emotionally unsettled due to the traumatizing childhood experiences and his wish to succeed in music. Their instructions meet crudomaniac and natural way and their evolving relations prove to be the testament of the therapeutic force of knowledge and friendship. The tone of the movie gives it its balance between the times of vulnerability and hope that gave the film the experience that appeals to an emotional level.

It is believable, Vaani as the weak and strong individual makes the viewer sympathies with him, and Krish is angry and emotionally sensitive and this adds depth and reality to the play. Their life issues and maturity are carefully depicted in the direction with assistance of music as a story line and a feeling evoker. The cinematography and music are timed within strictly acceptable accuracy to an extent of producing nostalgia, pain and optimism- particularly when they are associated with milestones of creative and emotional revelation. The screenplay has a fine art of balancing the personal lives of the people and the budding romance between the two and closes the picture with a very touching scene of love strength.

What truly impressed me was the fact that how the idea of love as the one and only true answer to the troubles of life was highlighted in the manner that resonated best through the work by *Saiyaara. The scene when Vaani involved in the fight against the early-onset Alzimmer and her consequent separation with Krish is devastating and encouraging, which is a reflection of the strength of the human spirit. Their reunification and the dream at the end of the film provided me with the sense of hope and that love can transcend through time and memory despite life and its accidental circumstances. It is a highly developed story that romanticizes the force of love and the strength to dream.
