AGASOBANUYE LIVE

Shakti - (review)

The film “Shakti” is an adrenaline rush, action-packed thriller that combines mystery, mythology and action. It is about a young boy named Sakthi, who finds a huge powerful diamond named ‘Jwalamukhi’ and a series of events begins in his quest, which is going to pose a threat to national security. While he’s discovering the truth behind the diamond and his own enigmatic history, Sakthi is enmeshed in a perilous pursuit with Egyptian terrorists, a magical weapon and a long forgotten family saga. The story has been filled with unforeseen events, betrayals, and mysterious happenings that leave viewers constantly guessing, while also delving into the concepts of identity, loyalty, and sacrifice.

The intensity and adventure level of the film are also high, featuring a combination of action and emotional moments. The performances are compelling, especially in the portrayal of Sakthi, whose journey from an innocent guide to a powerful hero is both gripping and emotional. The script is breezy, with a few moments being quite improbable but still being really thrilling. The cinematography is spectacular and has managed to capture some of the most beautiful places, such as Kashmir and Hampi, adding to the grandeur of the story; the action choreography is not refined, but strong and impactful, depicting the strength and resilience of Sakthi.

The one thing that really struck me as being a profound theme of the film was the concept of heroism that was based on sacrifice and heritage. The quest of Sakthi to find out about his heritage and save his family is gripping and touching. The movie’s final scenes, which combine myth with action, are memorable, and the theme of legacy and courage is the central one. The film is a roller coaster of supernatural thrill and human emotions and definitely not to be missed for action lovers with a dose of mythology.
